What we collect
If you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, optional company name, and message you submit, and we store them in our customer relationship management system (Insightly) so we can reply and keep track of the conversation. If you sign up for the Investor Readiness Checklist or our newsletter, we collect your email address (via Kit, our email service provider). If you book a call, Calendly collects the details you provide. Our hosting provider (Netlify) keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and operations. We also use Google Analytics to understand how this site is used: it sets cookies and records standard usage data such as the pages you view, your approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, the referring site, and your device and browser type. We do not enable Google’s advertising or remarketing features, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent your information. You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google’s browser opt-out add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. Nothing on this site requires analytics cookies to work.
How we use it
To reply to you, to send you the content you asked for, occasional educational emails, and to prepare for conversations you have with us. We do not use contact-form submissions for marketing unless you separately sign up for the newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is honored immediately. To be removed from our records entirely, ask us by email at chris@hermance.capital and we will delete your record.
Third-party services
This site relies on Kit (email), Insightly (customer relationship management), Calendly (scheduling), Netlify (hosting and contact-form processing), Google Analytics (site usage measurement), and Google Fonts (typography). Each processes only the data needed for its function under its own privacy policy.
